A Few Words of Thanks and appreciation...

After launching the book in Navan Town Hall the Ambassador visited the Tarahumara display in the Navan Town Centre, The Newgrange Hotel for lunch, before being welcomed to Trim Castle by Trim Cathaoirleach James O' Shea and local historian Noel French.
Eloner was our wonderful O.P.W. guide in the Castle.
I could not have wished for a more successful Launch for my book . My thanks to all who had any part in making my day such a success, The Navan Town Council, Town Clerk, Lord Mayor, Trim Town Council, Cathaoirleach James O'Shea & Noel French.
The Ambassador is very grateful to all who were present, and in the manner in which he was welcomed to Navan and Trim.

Especial "Thank you" to the Bishop of Meath Dr. Michael Smith, Canon John Clarke, Rector of Navan Union of Parishes, Rev. Declan Hurley A.D.M. Navan, Pat Mulaney Navan Town Centre, Local Councillors, Kitty Byrne, Trim and Bernard Colgan, Kildare (representing my over nine'ties friends present), my supporters who travelled from the UK, and the large circle of friends/visitors present, especially the proof reader for my book Richard Ball.
My only regret was that Dr. Steven Worden was unavoidably absent due to preasure of work in Fayetteville University, Arkansas, but I am happy to say that he will be present at the launch of my book in the Mexican Embassy next year when Ambassador Garcia will launch the book a second time in the company of Ambassadors.

My thanks to the photographers, newspaper reporters, Bill Slatery and his wonderful traditional musicians, the catering staff in the Town Hall.

Finally thanks to the support and encouragement from my brother Richard - without his help I could never continue with my Tarahumara projects/adventures. And to all of the people who are always there to help and support me, year after year I send you a big warm THANK YOU.
I return to the Sierras on October 20th. D.V.

Yours sincerely,
